Today, The LP Watch Group has repositioned itself for the 21st Century as a leader in the branded watch arena by collaborating with new young and talented award winning designers to offer some of the most innovative designs in the world. In 2006 The LP Watch Group did just that by introducing LP ITALY, a collaboration of innovative Italian Design and precision Swiss Technology. LP Italy has launched two highly successful collections, The "Stratosphere Collection" and "Celano Ceramic Collection".
Focusing on the multi-billion dollar promotional market the Dufonte division brings together the all important price point with current fashion trends. Going forward into 2007 and 2008 The LP Watch Group will continue to introduce new collections targeting specific markets including a new line of Licensed Swiss American LeMans Watches.
2006 and 2007 added Multi-Million Dollar advertising campaigns. In 2006 a National Sponsorship agreement with the Risi Competizione Ferrari F430GT was entered into for the American LeMans Series of Races. The "Stratosphere" Watch, part of the collection from LP ITALY, was prominently featured on the Ferrari and was exposed to millions of national television viewers on both CBS and the Speed Channels. The Series began in March and ended in October with the Ferrari WINNING the GT 2 Class.
In 2007, The LP Watch Group was offered, and accepted the Series Sponsorship for American Lemans and will continue with this Sponsorship through 2009. The Executive Women’s Golf Association, EWGA, is another proud sponsorship that The LP Watch Group has committed to for 2007 and 2008. Working closely to promote the EWGA’s Charities; Lucien Piccard Watch sales help to contribute funds to teach Inner-City girls the game of Golf.
